The Legal Seminar presents a unique opportunity for Board members and property managers to learn about emerging trends in condominium law as well as the “nuts and bolts” of running and managing an association.This year’s seminar will begin with a moderated panel discussion on several topics, including: Collections, Fair Housing, Rules Enforcement, Rental Restrictions, and Insurance.

The speakers will discuss each of the moderated topics for a few minutes. The seminar will conclude with an open Q&A for attendees to ask questions not addressed during the moderated panel portion.


Adam Bazelon of Levine & Bazelon, S.C., focuses his practice on community association law and related real estate litigation. He is an active member of CAI-Wisconsin and is currently the chapter’s President.

Lydia Chartre CCAL: is an attorney in the Milwaukee office of Husch Blackwell LLP where she co-leads it’s Condominium and HOA Law Team. She has extensive experience advising Wisconsin condominium association Boards on the issues including Declaration and Bylaw amendments, assessment collection and foreclosure, rule-making, voting, governance, HUD and Fair Housing. She is currently on the CAI-Wisconsin Board of Directors and serves on CAI’s Legislative Action and Conference & Tradeshow Committees.

Dan Miske CCAL: is an attorney in the Milwaukee office of Husch Blackwell LLP where he co-leads it’s Condominium and HOA Law Team. Mr. Miske is a member of the College of Community Association Lawyers, and is an AV rated attorney in Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Miske represents condominiums and HOA’s throughout Wisconsin, and has been involved in the CAI-WI chapter since 2006. He currently chairs CAI-WI’s Legislative Action Committee.
